On the surface, Saya is a stunning 16-year-old, but that youthful exterior hides the tormented soul of a 400-year-old "halfling". Born to a human father and a vampire mother, she has for centuries been a loner obsessed with using her samurai skills to rid the world of vampires, all the while knowing that she herself can survive only on blood like those she hunts.

A boring, lackluster adaptation. Even though the concept was right up my alley.
A fun live action interpretation of a better anime. Some good action. All in all not bad.
A wasted opportunity to make a great movie. The anime is short, so making a full length movie would be hard, but this misses in all areas
Visually stunning. Plot is a little dodgy. The creativity and beauty are what redeems the film.
Never seen the anime, but this is fun and artistically shot and cut. B-movie with decent post production budget.
This is one of my favorite B-movies. I watch it a few times a year hahaha
Like the anime movie
Horrid remake of a good anime
