Daisato, a second-rate, third-generation superhero, annoys his neighbors with the noise and destruction he causes on the job. But a heroic public image is the least of his concerns. Besides defending Japan from bizarre monsters, he must deal with an agent seeking to brand him with ads, a superhero grandfather with Alzheimer's and a family embarrassed by his incompetence.

User Reviews
A bizarre little indie movie about a faded star of toho style monster flicks. Sort of precursor to Birdman now that I think about it
Strange in wholly unexpected ways. Think the dick-eyed and balding kaijus are the strange thing abt this movie? Prepare for post-peak ennui.
This movie has some Spinal Tap vibes with the mockumentary style, and then the end just comes from nowhere like a kick in the nuts.
Wasted potential. Looked like it was going somewhere interesting but then fizzled hard.
A very unexpected film, but surprisingly human.
So very bizarre but so very good.
What did I just watch???
Watch it now.
A masterpiece
