1971: Beyond Borders

Major Mahadevan (Mohanlal) is the head of the elite command force. He is in charge of fighting the country’s terrorist groups and protecting the country from their terrorist intentions. Havildar Jaikumar (Jeevaa) is Major Mahadevan’s most trusted lieutenant. He meticulously carries out his chief’s instructions, thereby gaining his trust and confidence. Mahadevan, Havildar Jaikumar and their team save the public from threats, attempted bombings, kidnappings, and extortions by militants.

As intense battles rage between Indian and Pakistani forces in the Kargil district of Kashmir, Indian Col. Mahadeva (Mohanlal) leads his brave troops on a dangerous mission to capture the rocky Kargil territory. This Malayalam-language war drama -- directed by Major Ravi, a former Indian Army officer -- also stars Cochin Hanifa, Bineesh Kodiyeri, Manikuttan, Biju Menon and Siddique, and features songs by Sidhharth Bipin.

Another mission with Mahadevan and crew, as they deal with international terrorism with a flight being hijacked by hardcore terrorists.

Set against the backdrop of 1971 Indo-Pak war, the movie is inspired by real incidents and the protagonists are inspired by Param Vir Chakra recipients. The movie shows what consequences of war are on the lives of soldiers on either side of the border.
